The Cargo Ship sails in complete with 2 bollards to attach to your ‘dock’ – wheels underneath, for pulling through the ‘sea’ or along the ‘river’ – our toddler loves to sit on hers and ride it shouting ‘horsey, horsey’– it seems to be robust enough but I don’t think that is the intention! ‘Registered’ in Rotterdam, the Ship is very realistic with its anchor, moving tiller, lifeboat/tug/pilot-boat with swivelling out –board motor, funnels, lights and other ship-board paraphernalia..


The brightly coloured wooden containers (from New York, Hong Kong, Hamburg and Rotterdam) each have realistic double opening doors, and steel discs on their tops, so they can be lifted by the magnet in the gantry of the container crane. Your youngster (and your not-so-youngsters) will love being the Captain of this Vessel, transporting their precious cargo over the Ocean to the other side of the world.


The Container Cane requires some self assembly –I managed it one-handed whilst restraining my toddler – 2 right-angled screw driver/Allen keys and screws are provided, to help assemble this realistic working wheeled model. The driver can both move the gantry forward and back and also lower and raise the magnetic crane to attach the containers to transfer from the forklift truck to the ship and back again on the other side of the sea!


The Forklift truck has room for a driver – use one of your existing toys, or try our Modern Family (470PL-0714200) to wind up the tines and lift your cargo.
